I totally agree. Saying you like a piece of art or don’t like a piece of art is certainly subjective, and that’s OK. But that is different than good or bad art. There are some things that are put out there as “art” that are just not well done, ie: bad. And even if someone else likes it, it is still bad art.
Funny timing. I just listened to an interview with “Objectivist” Philosopher/Physicist David Harriman yesterday. He outlined a fairly interesting theory that the dominance of the Copenhagen Interpretation of Quantum Physics was influenced by a pre-existing philosophical atmosphere of nihilism and insanity-inducing subjectivism, which he claimed set the stage for everything from Nazism to New Agers. While I knee jerk react against anything related to Ayn Rand, Harriman made me step back and go “Hrrmmm” about my own dismal predispositions. Anyways… Keep the comics coming, you beautiful bastard.
😀 😀 😀

Oh, my God, how I hate people like this. You did a perfect job of portraying just how annoying they are. Particularly the smug smirk.
cheers,
Phil

The Art History major in me wants to murder those people in their sleep.

Thanks, guys! This one was so petty but it gets under my skin when someone acts like this isn’t a given and anyone cares.
